Dr. Mitch Bassett is a fellowship-trained Urologic Oncologist at Intermountain Health's Budge Clinic, supporting patients in Cache County and its surrounding communities. He specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the genitourinary tract for male and female patients of all ages. He has a particular passion for guiding men through the complexities of prostate cancer and is an expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries for kidney and bladder conditions. His clinical interests also extend to addressing various urological concerns with cutting-edge techniques. Dr. Bassett is passionate about partnering with his patients, ensuring they are fully informed about their urologic health and all available treatment options. He believes that patient education and empowerment are key to successful outcomes. By staying current on the latest research and procedures in urology, he is dedicated to providing the best possible care and utilizing a team-based approach when necessary. Dr. Bassett enjoys mountain biking, cross-country and alpine skiing, and hiking when not in the clinic. He is also a devoted fan of Aggie basketball and football. Dr. Bassett is happily married to his college sweetheart, and together, they have four active children.
